Two recent examples of what can be achieved, despite your circumstances or age. Mr Joseph Motsamai,(Vryburg Campus), recently graduated with honours. He achieved the award for the NQF Level 4 FETC Certificate: Top Student Nationwide. And what makes his achievement even more remarkable is the fact that he works as a security guard. After his shift ends on a Friday evening, he would still attend every Saturday morning his contact classes.
The other student, that proved that age is just a number, is Ms Magdalena Wood. Notwithstanding her fairly advanced age of 62, she too achieved the honour of being awarded the Top NQF Level 4 student at her Mahikeng Campus(Class of 2022)
